I'm your basic American youth who is technologically inclined. I grew up with radio and never had any music to call my own. I never bought a CD until I was 13, and even then it wasn't one of the mainstream CDs that were out at the time. I've always wanted to support the artists that I listened to, but lacked the funds necessary to go out and get the CDs. As such my CD collection is quite limited. I've since discovered the glory that is Creative Commons, and the amazing amount of talent under it. Now, I've decided to give those artists that choose to put their music out for all to listen to free-of-charge a little publicity and to promote those up-and-coming so that Creative Commons will thrive and flourish as a legitimate model of publication.
